Description
An index, statistical analysis, critical review and post-mortem of Fantagraphic’s flagship Furry comic anthology title, Critters, written by fan Taral Wayne. Published at some point after Issue 50 of Critters was released in 1990, Wayne primarily faults decisions made by editor Kim Thompson for the decline and end of the title, such as the switch from a proper anthology format to single author issues with Issue 38, as well as Thompson’s reluctance to embrace what Wayne saw as the strength of the anthology format.
