Description
SFA Spotlights was a banner title from Shanda Fantasy Arts, used for a rotating set of authors and genres. It ran for 15 issues from 1998 to 2004.

SFA Spotlights Issue 8 is the one-shot "Knight & Mouse", set in a Middle Eastern fantasy setting. Written by Brock Hoagland, penciled by Shawn Decker, and inked by Steve Addlesee, "Knight & Mouse" features the human knight Ali ibn-Mustafa and the dancing mousegirl Hivis, in three stories.

"Dancing Girl, Thirteen Dinars" introduces Ali and Hivis and the start of their relationship.
"The Ogre" has Hivis and Ali outwit an ogre who is terrorizing the nearby villages
"An Honest Man" has Ali and Hivis undergo a test of honesty.

This issue is labeled #8 and released January 2000 due to print errors. It is issue #9, and released January 2001.
