Reprint of Special Edition of Issue 1 of Hepcats
Description
Starting as a comic strip in the U of T Austin's student newspaper in 1987 and later moving to the author's Double Diamond Press imprint, Hepcats is a slice of life college comic by Martin Wagner, centered around four college students and inspired by the author's own college experiences. The comic was later reprinted by Antarctic Press, but was never finished in published form, with the title canceled by AP in 1999. In 2007, Wagner finished the current storyarc of "Snowblind Part One" as a webcomic.
This issue is a reprint of a special edition version of the first issue. It includes a new introduction on the inside front cover, an article "History of Hepcats", and a short comic "What's it like to be a world-famous comic-book superstar".
